Submitted by Christopher Parrack a Weekend Warrior from Miami, Florida
    Date Reviewed: April 4, 2002
Favorite Trail:Dragons Tail, Chritmas Tree, and Kitchen Sink at Oleta State recreation Area
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $275.00
Purchased At:Fritz's Bike & Skate in Miami Beach
Strengths:A real kids mountain bike, lightweight aluminum (about 25 pounds) and real fast.
Weaknesses:I can't think of any. I'm only 8 and this is the best bike I've ever had.
Similar Products Used:A 20 inch Pacific Cosmic 6 spd. springy front forks that say "Not Suitable For Offroad" 31 pounds, and a 20 inch Dynacraft Rhino dual suspension bike that weighed 41 pounds. This bike was so heavy, my dad had to help me up the steeper climbs after an hour or two of riding.
Bike Setup:Red and white 10 1/2" frame with shimano derailers and Specialized seat, pedals, cranks, headset, handlebars, and their Mt. Baldy tires mounted on quick release front and rear rims.
Bottom Line:This bike is really cool. My dad says that it's really hard to find a real mountain bike for kids. There is a 13 1/2" frame but Skip at Fritz's Bike Shop fitted me with the 10 1/2" which is perfect. The Suntour forks can take all I can dish out for now and the bike can be upgraded and will be able to grow with me until I'm big enough for a 26" stumpjumper. Save your money dad. I'f you're a kid riding a 20" bike, the Specialized Hotrock F1 AS 24 with a 10 1/2" frame is the best mountain bike made.
