Cheap plastic chain guard. Terrible customer service from Specialized.
Bottom Line:
Would never buy another Specialized bike (and we have 3 in our family). Their customer service is awful. Tried to get a replacement chain guard and found out they do not carry spares (then don't make them out of plastic!).
