    Favorite Trail:Anything Going Down
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $80.00
    Purchased At:BeyondBikes
Strengths:Two Straps with Ratchet, Cool Looks
    Weaknesses:Straps, Buckles, Sole
Similar Products Used:Older Six Six One Peak, Answer XC-1, Vans SPD
Bike Setup:07 bullit, Domain 318, DHX 3.0, Holzeffer OCT w/ Blackspire guide, Carbon DH bars
Bottom Line:After owning a pair of the older 661 peaks (which were identical to the Price Point Sette Epics), I decided to give their new shoe a try. What a disappointment. The sole is stiff but the lower lugs are really low profile and don't provide good traction when you have to hike. The whole upper material on the shoe is way too soft and doesn't support your foot very well. The rachet strap doesn't lay properly across your foot and has a buckle in the fabric as posted previously. I'm kicking myself for not getting the sette's which are about as good a shoe for the money as you can get. I give them 2 chilis because they look cool.

    Date Reviewed: March 8, 2008
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $100.00
    Purchased At:universal cycles
    Strengths:fits rather well
    Weaknesses:very poor design of buckle
Similar Products Used:sidi, shimano, northwave, answer
Bottom Line:Not good; do not be attracted by the relatively cheap price. in general, the way the strap goes around the shoe, and the design of the buckle, are wrong. The main strap, at least in my case (wide foot) makes a wrinkle and touches the crank arm.

Now I use them only as spares.

    Favorite Trail:south shore of hickory
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $130.00
    Purchased At:blueskycycle.com
Strengths:cheap, cheap, cheap i bought them at blueskycycle.com for 130 bucks. it was a combo deal, that came with egg beater c pedals. the shoe looks cool too.
Weaknesses:like the review below, the two front cleats are starting to come loose i have to tighten them after every ride. also the velcro is white underneath and it should be black. i have only had them for 1 month now. so i really don't know how they would look dirty.
Similar Products Used:these are my first clip in shoe.
    Bike Setup:iron horse hardtail
Bottom Line:Bottom line if your switching over from platform pedals to clip ins, well this is a pretty good deal. it's a perfect entry level shoe without breaking your wallet. i mean you can't beat the price for a good looking shoe. since this is my first clip in shoe i have own. i really don't know what would be a standard to judge by.

my problem was ordering it from blueskycycles it took them two weeks to get me my shoe, it was on back order. so a rule of thumb for internet orders is always call to see if they have product instock before you order it.

    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $110.00
    Purchased At:sixsixone.com
    Strengths:good looks/price
Weaknesses:Sole needs to be a single molded piece. cleats in the front pulled away from sole in 3 rides and won't push back in. velcro under strapes are bright white, get dirty within a few rides and should be black.
    Similar Products Used:answer xc-1,specialized comp
    Bike Setup:modified epic
Bottom Line:I would not by a pair again.
