Bottom Line:
Neat light; it looks good and is very compact. The mounting system does not require the removal of the seat. My problem is that the poor build quality causes the button to intermittantly close the switch. The unit turns on and off at random, even without touching it. This, of course, makes it useless. I guess that is what you get when you take a German design and manufacture it in China.

Bottom Line:
I like this light and have recomended it to my friends. I put it on my bike, have not touched it in 6 months and the sucker is still sitting there, working very well, not getting loose in fast downhills, not getting lost after jumps. What more do you want.

Get this if you are cycling in wet conditions. The waterproofing has saved me further misery after my Smart and Cateye tailights went haywire after water pervaded their circuitry.

Bottom Line:
A modern looking, relativly bright, small compact light. Uses N batteries which are small and light, but about twice the price of double A's, and last half as long. One of the l.e.d.s on mine was not working upon receipt. Maybe just bad luck. The mounting system uses a fairly heavy rubber band that requires the seat post to be removed for installation. The light itself is then attached to the bracket via a quick release. No clip type provision for mounting on a seat bag or belt, I had to fabricate one. Overall an average quality product. I think I will try the Vista Eclpise, despite the rumoured weak clip mount.
