    Date Reviewed: July 2, 2008
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $40.00
    Purchased At:LBS
    Strengths:large display, ease of use.
    Weaknesses:lack of backlight.
    Similar Products Used:none.
Bottom Line:this product worked very well. when i put it on, it seemed awkward, and it was sometimes losing contact or slipping down. so i tightend it up and during a recent 2 hr ride, i only lost signal once which most likely happened because it got turned around a bit after i biffed once. i was wearing a open arm thin base layer under a jersey, after the chest contacts took a small readjustment it worked fine. wish it had a light, but, it works as advertised. good deal.

    Favorite Trail:locally The Fells
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $30.00
    Purchased At:Nasbar
Strengths:Easy to use, replaceable batteries (the instructions indicate that the watch battery is not user replaceable but it's very simple).
    Low frills.
Weaknesses:The signal is lost if there is any interference. For example riding a Life Cycle causes the signal to be lost when your arms are full extended - but it works fine when riding an actual bike.
    Low frills.
Bottom Line:The interference is a minor issue, but I'm still basically happy with the product.

    Price Paid: $70.00
Strengths:Inexpensive, basic, large display, accurate, no bothersome 'out of range' alarms. Replaceable battery in both watch and chest transmitter.
Weaknesses:May be too basic for some.
Bottom Line:Good basic HRM. You can probably find a better price than $70 now.
