Favorite Trail:urban
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Purchased At:earle ind.
Strengths:amazing comfort factor(they are sidis!), stiff(enough)sole, good traction on soft stuff, dry within 10 min's of gettin wet, well vented when hot, straps and buckles work great!
Weaknesses:crazy colors(they are sidis!), shi++y traction on roots & rocks! Too well vented when cold!
But nothin major!
Bike Setup:who cares with shoes?
Bottom Line:Deadly shoes for xc stuff which i bought them for, but can duke it out well enough at the urban battle so far!
Bought them 2 years ago for xc cause they were top end sidi's and sidi had a wide toe box which is why i cant wear some other shoes! i thought the crazy colors were pretty bi+chin at the time??.. anyways they are great shoes tech-wise, the buckles and crazy strap system is wicked for tightening them up while on the move, after lost of use & abuse mine have only started to destitch in one little spot on the toe, but im gonna slap some shoe goo over the whole thing for protection anways!
BAD: not made anymore,
but the sidi actions are basically suped-up ghosts with some N&I strap contraptions and replaceable lug's,
SOOO if u want them, theres no reason not to get em! L8er!

Favorite Trail:hardwood h.
Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
Strengths:Stiff sole, great retention/comfort.
Weaknesses:the colour... my bike doesnt have a lot of flourecent orange and yellow on it... haha, this was sidi's top of the line shoe? feels like one, but still... im not gonna let its score hurt because of the colour though.

Date Reviewed: September 16, 1999
Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
Good fit, aggressive sole, rigid, strap system
Weaknesses:
Sole is slippery on wet rocks, colour ;), expensive
Similar Products Used:
many...
Bike Setup:
Schwinn HT
Bottom Line:Really nice fit but I have a flat foot profile, I have to put a second pair of insoles to get them straps work - the main lever works nicely!Very rigid sole, great for riding, sh** when walking. Materials seem flimsy but I guess they hold since there is no damage after 30 hours of riding in rocky terrain.
