    Favorite Trail:stromlo
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
    Price Paid: $300.00
    Purchased At:online
Strengths:Light, cheap, very strong and true
Weaknesses:Bearings are not sealed - no disc ability - but then that's OK because I didn't buy them for disks
Similar Products Used:Mavic Crossmax, Rhinolite wheels
Bike Setup:At time of racing - sid shocks, Kona Easton Frame etc - basic weight weenie set up
Bottom Line:Bloody Bloody good wheel. Only problem I've had with them is that the typical Shimano non-sealed bearing slowly comes loose and needs periodic tightening, which is not the easiest thing to do given that one of the bearing nuts is hiden in the freewheel casing. Other than that these are fantastic wheels. I've retired them from my race bike now as I use disk wheels. I use them on my touring bike which transports me (75Kgs) and my 15Kg son in his baby seat right over the rear wheel. I had my doubts about how strong these wheels were when I first saw them... but not now.

Buy these if you're on a budget want something that looks seriously cool and want light V brake only wheels

    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:with bike
Strengths:stays true, no matter if they have 16 spokes
fast on road with semislick tires
Weaknesses:rear wheel twist a litle with heavy thrust on pedals
my opinion is that they should use 20 spokes on rear wheel
    Similar Products Used:Lx-Mavic 517,Xt-Mach1 rims,Bontrager Superstock...

Bottom Line:Cheap and good wheelset for average light biker

    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $220.00
    Purchased At:VELASCO
Strengths:Really good wheels for the price, strong and not to heavy
    Weaknesses:wheight so far
Similar Products Used:mavic crossmax sl to week
    Bike Setup:trek fuel 98 , fox float , sram, stronglight oxal,xtr
Bottom Line:Only 16 spokes but really strong, better than my crossmax sl 2003, the weight is actually on the axles and not on the rim whats make this wheels pretty fast and easy to start the rim is only 500GR ,what is good if you compare to the mavic 717 440gr + the nipales 32GR and all the spokes what make the same wheigt at the end, i did put an eclipse kit on them and with some 440gr geax mezcal tires that make them some of the fastest wheels i rode with.

The strenght is really good i am 190lbs 85kg and i am doing some ruf xc earound the auvergne volcanos

After 1000km they became a bit spongy i just had to tens the spokes and everything was find after.

IF you are on a small budget for 1900GRS THEY ARE THE WHEELS TO GET

Strengths:Looks, strength, stayed true after 10 months.
    Weaknesses:Maybe the weight
    Bike Setup:02 Jamis Dakar
Bottom Line:These wheels are excellent. They look super sharp and strong as hell. I wanted the M765s but they were way to expensive. If you're you're looking for a cool, fast set of wheels, get these.

    Favorite Trail:lahoya
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $300.00
    Purchased At:pricepoint
Strengths:Stays true, have yet to brake a spoke in over one year of riding, also even when ridden in straight muck just needed a hose down.
    Weaknesses:None so far
    Similar Products Used:Bontrager, XT Wheels
Bike Setup:Gary Fisher Big Sur, Black Fork, Full XT, Basically just using the frame.
Bottom Line:I have had this wheel set for a whole year, through races and just plain gnarly rides they have stayed true. After about 11 months of riding on them I finally noticed that they needed a little truing. Now after 3 more months they are just as true as when i first bought them. Also when I got them i was weighing in at about 220 and never had a single problem. By the way they are super badass when you convert them to tubless with the Stan's Strips (Trust Me).

    Favorite Trail:Loonse en Drunense Duinen
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $175.00
    Purchased At:Bike Level
Strengths:Strong, easy to true, decent hub internals, good looks, fairly stiff and light
Weaknesses:No regular spokes, when trueing the rear wheel the cassette needs to be removed.
    Similar Products Used:Rigida zac19/explorer, formula 32-spoke disc-wheels.
Bike Setup:Viper TR3.0 LX components with Rock Shox Judy XC
Bottom Line:When ridden for the first time both the rear and the front need to be trued. After that the wheels stay in true.

Last week I went to france and gave these wheels a downhill beating. Very big rocks and branches. Not a single buckle after this holiday so I highly recommend these wheels for anyone who does heavy XC!

    Price Paid: $200.00
    Purchased At:bikelevel
    Strengths:Light and strong
    Weaknesses:bearings
    Bike Setup:Full XT
Bottom Line:I would not recomend thgis type of wheelset for people above 220 LBS and heavy XT riders. This type of wheelset is good enough for cross country only bearings are weak and have to be replaced.
