My first rear D was an Alivio... it requires routinary adjustment due to miss shifts. Perhaps it is dur to the design since the Alivio was created for 8 speed only... had changed my read D with a XT (rapid rise) and now the performance of my bike is great. No more miss shifts and the adjustment lessens. Way to go Shimano...
To summarize what I wrote... "I love it..."
