Favorite Trail:Lysterfield Competition Trail
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $1.00
Purchased At:Lawrencia Cycles with bike
Strengths:Easy acces to cable, lightweight, quick/sharp, easy to understand display, looks good
Weaknesses:None as yet
Similar Products Used:Deore lx, xt
Bike Setup:XC Hardtail, Deore shifters, Xt Derailleurs, Sram cassete, Truvativ cranks, Shimano mech discs, Rst forks, Diamondback frame, handlebars, hubs, seat post.
Bottom Line:These work just as well as Shimano Lx and Xt. It's just a matter of materials used, price and looks. Perfect for any form of 29 speed biking or commuting.
Easy acces to cable when it needs to be replaced.
Easy to read display.
If you wish to upgrade to Shimano Mega 9 system, Deore shifters will serve you just as well as LX or Xt but not break the bank.
