The Shimano Saint FD-M817 Front Derailleur is a bottom-swing, dual-pull design. Dual-pull meaning the cable can properly pull the derailleur from below or above. The clamp is a band that is designed to fit around 34.9mm frame tubes. Shims are included to properly clamp the front derailleur around 28.6 and 31.8mm frame tubes. The front derailleur will work with 65-71 degree chain stay angles.
