    Favorite Trail:City Park Denver, Colorado
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $19.00
    Purchased At:niagaracycle.com
Strengths:Attractive design, strong chain ring guard, durable chain ring teeth, reasonable price.
    Weaknesses:None
    Similar Products Used:Sr/Suntour XCC-100 crankset
Bike Setup:2003 Men's 23"Fuji Supreme Hybrid, standard oem equipped.
Bottom Line:My Fuji Supreme came equipped the the Suntour crank specified above. It's main defect was the quality of its clear plastic chain ring, which was attached to the largest chain ring with small platic tangs which accomodated the small attaching screws. These were very easily damaged. The chain ring guard is not available as a replacement part. I installed the Shimano crank and have been very pleased with it after more than two years of daily use.The chain ring guard is made of much heavier guage plastic and is attached to the largest chain ring with screws that seat in four sturdy plastic arms. The chain ring teeth hemselves are very durable and have lasted through 4500 miles of use, two rear freewheel and three chain replacements.I highly recommend this product to those looking for a reasonably priced, entry level replacement crank.
