Strengths:stiff, smooth shifting, xt rings will fit.
    Weaknesses:none yet
Similar Products Used:xtr, bontrager, truvativ, race face
    Bike Setup:gf ht
Bottom Line:best bang for the buck. One comment stated that wish he could shave some wt off. This is only about 30gr heavier than the XT, take a poop and that should do it. Technology has come a long way in the past five yrs, i can remember the old xt cranks bb and they were heavy and flexy. This set really shifts smooth. Bontrager gave this set to me as a replacement for my Racelite set that started peel its coating. Quite happy with this.

    Purchased At:eBay
Strengths:Looks incredible, simple to install, shifts smooth, very durable. I've been out on a few pretty intense rides with it and havent had any issues...now if I could get some longevity out of my pedals I'd be set.
Weaknesses:Just wish I could shave a few grams off of it.
Similar Products Used:ollllld shimano stx RC
Bottom Line:This seems to be an amazing crank fro the price. Compared to the XT, I'd take this any day. Its close in weight and 100% stronger?!? that's incredible and you cant beat the quality of shimano products.

Strengths:strengh(supposed to be 100percent stronger than xt!!)looks the biz.shifts really well and has same middle ring as xtr (composite).generally for the crazy price i paid this is a very good piece of kit.ease of setting up.come in triple or twin with bash guard.
Weaknesses:none as yet.weight might not be to everyone's liking but they are intended for AM.
Similar Products Used:race face evolve.pile of junk!!!!
    Bike Setup:santa cruz nomad.fox 36 forks.dhx5 coil.hope hubs.sram x9 gears.chris king 1.5 devolution headset.formula oro bianco brakes.
Bottom Line:for an all mountain crankset you cant go very wrong by fitting these to your bike.for the price their an absolute bargain and would highly recommend them to anyone.ok they are not the lightest cranks out there but you would'nt have the strengh of these either full stop.makes the race face ones i had look very poor indeed, especially the splines(surely they could make them better).nice one shimano
