Strengths:This is an amazing crank it feels so stiff and can take tons of abuse, Highly recommended it felt better then my friends race face diablous which is heavier.
Weaknesses:The bolts for tightening the crank are a bit soft(easy to strip) and you need to purchase a special piece to tighten cranks
Similar Products Used:Race face diablous, Hussefelt, Ruktion
Bike Setup:Stinky Dee-Lux, Boxxers, Strokers, ++ many goodies
Bottom Line:Great crank bit overpriced but great feel and not extremely heavy ! Would of been 4 Chilis if MRSP was 250 or under but still a great craink

    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $300.00
Purchased At:Local shop does not matter
Strengths:The outboard bearing design is absolutely amazing. There is a significant difference in stiffness, compared to even the isis BB design.
Weaknesses:The small and middle chain rings have already stretched out. I have an amazing amount of chain suck occuring. The solution is to replace them. I have been riding the cranks for approx 12 months, w/ approx 500 miles of off road on them. I'm a big guy and I have been cranking on them pretty hard so I imagine that could be some factors.
Similar Products Used:Truvative husselfelt, with DH isis BB.
Bike Setup:Santa Cruz Heckler, xtr, older mavic 321 wheel set, 35 lbs. 98% of the time on XC trails, lots of climbing.
Bottom Line:This is an awesome crank set. I wish the chain rings would have lasted at least 2-years. This crank set is amazingly strong and stiff. If I had to do it again I would probably get the XT crank set. They are lighter and stiff as I need a crank set to be. I was leaning toward the saint crank for the color (blackish) and a really heavyduty crank for my size. rider wt. 250lb. I think the XT would be just fine though. next time.
