Submitted by Oliver a Downhiller from Sevenoaks
Date Reviewed: March 24, 2007
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $140.00
Purchased At:Wildside
Strengths:Strong leaver feel, stands up to abuse
Weaknesses:Heats easily, lots of fade due to increase in heat.
Similar Products Used:Hope Mono Mini, Hope Mono M4, Hayes 9, Hayes Sole, Avid Juicy 5
Bike Setup:Dawes Acoma with completly custom spec incl. Manitou forks, SRAM/Truvative Drivetrain
Bottom Line:an excellent feeling braking system, when its cold. due to the small disc size/calliper body it seams to heat up very quicly, even on a short 2 min downhill, i managed to fix the problem by fitting a larger rotor.

there can be problems with squeeling, however this is only if you manage to knock it out of allignment, in which case just reallicn it and its fine.

i'm normally not a fan of Shimano's products but i do recomend their brakes...especially this.
