Description:The Sette Torx ST-107 Bearing Cup Press uses several enhanced and updated features in comparison to other headset presses on the market. The Torx ST-107 has a longer threaded rod and resized press-plates that accommodates 1 to 1 1/8 headsets and includes stepped bushing cup adapters to fit most cup sizes. The ST-107 can also be used to install press-fit bottom brackets. The Torx ST-107 is constructed of nickel-plated, heat-treated steel making it very durable. It also has an updated quick-release bottom plate for easier use and removable long non-slip handles for years of comfortable use.

Submitted by John a Weekend Warrior from Malkovic
    Date Reviewed: December 21, 2007
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $50.00
    Purchased At:Pricepoint
    Strengths:Gets the job done...for a while.
Weaknesses:The construction is not great. You have to hold the opposite end of the steel rod firmly in place as you twist the handle for majority of the installation. The threaded rod became stripped breaking off a part of the steel press-plate on a routine cup installation. The tool has become useless, and it's too expensive to warranty. The shipping alone is half the price of the tool itself.
Similar Products Used:Sette Torx Tool kit.
Bottom Line:If you want a better quality press, go with the Park HHP-2.
