Total waste of money, do not even bother. Constant reset and cheap overall. Stick with Cateye the additional $5-10 is worth it.

I should have sprung for a more expensive computer. I did not check to see if the tie wraps were to tight like some other users. I should not have to do this, it should work with the materials and instuctions supplied. It is an obvious design problem and Price Point gladly took it back for a credit ( I did not want another one). I am now reading reviews on bike computers to get a good one.

Overall - an OK, cheap computer with all the standard stuff. After fixing the weird problem I was having, it now does it's intended job fine. The problem was that after I installed it, it seemed to be constantly resetting itself with a full system reset (not just a trip reset), similar to what the other guy mentioned. And to make matters worse, the full system reset would reset EVERYTHING, including tire diameter (meaning a pain to set it back). And it was doing it every ride, often several times. I traced the problem to the mounting bracket tie straps (required for mountin the quickrelease to the handlebar) being too tight - took me a WHILE to figure out what it was, and they didn't seem too tight to me. However, I removed them and put new ones on (and they also seemed to be a non-standard size tie strap which was a pain), and the problem went away. I never experienced resets due to the magnet mounting, like the other guy. Now, my only complaint (a minor one), is that it's fairly difficult to just do a simple trip reset - supposed to just need to press both bottom buttens simultaniously, but it's never that simple - sometimes it works, sometimes it acts like you were holding just one button down. So it sometimes takes a few tries to reset it. And since it takes holding two buttons down, and they're at the bottom of the computer (not facing up, easy to get to), you can't really do it easily with one hand. So that means you have to remember to reset it before you start riding, or pull over and do it... Stupid. But minor...

Features and Functions. Pretty easy install and operation. Easy to read display. Straight forward, simple. Can set 2 tire sizes down to the millimeter - or you can you use the scale on the paper that it comes with if you dont want to measure your exact tire circumference. Price - $15
Weaknesses:
Set screw and/or threads on magnet strip easily if tightened to much. I can see it coming lose and falling off. Already thinking of magnet replacement - anyone try wraping part of a flexible frig magnet tight around a spoke? I bet it works. Worst thing: Computer resets itself too easily if magnet and sensor are close together while your still or putting bike away or, just like a minute ago, while I was fine tuning the front brakes. Everything goes to zero. You have to reprogram tire size(s), time, Odometer goes to zero. etc.

You get what you pay for, Johnny. I'd like to say I love it. But only like it mainly cause of price and basic functionality. Now i know what to look out for if i decide to buy something higher on the price scale. Havent had it in bad wheather - yet. Only had it a couple weeks mainly going to work and back. Consistant distance recordings. Be mindlful magnet and sensor proximity when storing etc. Oh yeah. Directions say Stop Watch is a function. Doesn't come up on mine. Not worth the hassle of returning it.
