    Date Reviewed: November 30, 2003
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $40.00
    Purchased At:bike house plauen
Strengths:fine saddle, fits well, not that expensive, SOFT
    Weaknesses:very weak
Similar Products Used:no other gel saddle yet
Bike Setup:scott montana, eggbeater, sun rhino lite, hs33
Bottom Line:I purchsed the thing and it broke after a bunnyhop in the first week. i got a new one for free and thought maybe ist was a manufacturing problem. today i had my first hard crash for some months and... the lousy saddle broke again at in the same position. the saddle is real cool, but the frame of it is mostly plastic - and plastic brakes in every crash. i will not buy that thing again

Strengths:design, and comfort.royal gel is soft but firm.you can ride
    all day with no discomfort!
    Weaknesses:height of saddle(but this isn't a major issue),almost not enough space for a seat bag(my little seat bag almost didn't make it),and weight(but again,a non-issue)

Bottom Line:this saddle feels sooooooooooooo good!i have a titanium selle italia gel flite saddle that was kickin my ass!padding feels too firm.i could never get really comfortable
with it.could not ride on it for more than 90 to 120 minutes.after brief brake in period, the selle royal saddle totally relieved the pressure the the flite saddle was putting on the you know what.saw this saddle at johnny sprokets bike store, liked how it felt, went to the web site,
filled out some info, but haven't heard from them,so i went back on 6/14/02 to see if i can order one,but they had one that was taken of a jamis bike.retail price maybe about $70,
but you may be able to get it for less at your local bike store.nice design, total comfort.five chilis!!!

    Favorite Trail:evening stuff
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $30.00
    Purchased At:halfords
    Strengths:looks
Bike Setup:gt agressor 3.0 standard apart from stuff like drink bottle etc
Bottom Line:the gt saddle let down a very good package for the price (£230) and hurt my bum!. This was one of only a few gel saddles in the shops. its very comfotable and looks good with the gel visable but you have to sit back onto the wide section to get the benefit
