from Stockholm Date Reviewed: December 9, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | single tracks galore | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | Lightweight, supple, narrow, flexible | | Weaknesses: | It can be bouncy on continuous rocky terrain | | Similar Products Used: | Selle italia Nitrox genuine gel, WTB sst.x | | Bike Setup: | Klein Attitude Race, XTR, Chris King, Marzocchi Superfly, Time ATAC | | Bottom Line: | This is a very comfortable saddle once gotten used to it. It is flexible so it can swallow small bumps thanks to its elastomers and frame design. Narrow for easy shifts backward on descents and it has a very nice embridered pattern (a snake) adding to the overall coolness of my ride. On the flip side its flexibility, which adds to comfort, can actually casue a boncy (bobbing?) ride on sustained small/midsize rocks, bumps, etc. I guess it is somewhat similar to shock seatposts in that respect. The best saddle i have tride so far. I will buy it for my road bike as well. I would give it five chilies if it had not been for the occasional bouncing | Overall Rating: |
