Description:Innovative characteristics of the FLX model include concentric circles in the base of the saddle. These concentric circles located at the three main points of support produce the damping effect of a spring and give increased comfort without any increase in weight. At the rear, a “double bridge“ affords added flexibility and helps eliminate vibrations. The “Shock Absorber“ elastomer laminated base, Flex Control padding and special anatomical design improves comfort.

Alloy or manganese rails available.

    Date Reviewed: August 18, 2002
    Favorite Trail:taff trail, wales
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $25.00
    Purchased At:leisure lakes
Strengths:really comfortable, bargain saddle, hammered it recently on the south downs way, came up trumps.
Weaknesses:rather girlie looks, and a bit short-nosed, so if you really throw your bike around you may lose contact, but if you keep you bum on the saddle most of the time, it won't get sore, and that's what a saddle is for!
Similar Products Used:selle italia flyte, viscount vt2
Bike Setup:merlin steel hardtail, marzocchi z2 atom sports, riser bars.
Bottom Line:for the price i paid, it's a steal. my son loves it too, so i'm getting another one.
