Submitted by Muzz a Weekend Warrior from Hobart, Australia
Date Reviewed: July 1, 2000
Favorite Trail:anything singletrack
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:makes a great trials bike seat.
i.e don't sit down on it
Weaknesses:The nastiest seat in the world(tm)
how do you top that?
Similar Products Used:WTB SST, SDG Bel Air
Bike Setup:WITHOUT this seat
Bottom Line:I had this seat on my HT when i bought it.I thought it looked cool so i kept using it.

Major Mistake.

It had no nacho area support, the rails bent easily and the cover is very slippery even when dry.It hurts so much more to ride with this seat than any other i've ever used.

I guess the fact i put this seat on my trials bike sums up my opinion of it. I don't sit down much when i ride trials so this seat is perfect.Plus if i have to bail i don't care if my seat gets trashed.

Overall:DO NOT BUY THIS SEAT, unless you ride trials or just don't care about having children. I have never been more disapointed with a product... ever

Submitted by Phil a Downhiller from BC
Date Reviewed: September 26, 1999
Favorite Trail:
Prudential, World Cup DH
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
Slim saddle, great for pedaling. Light, I guess.
Tough woven cover.
Weaknesses:
Very hard. Needs some padding
Similar Products Used:
WTB SST.X, Selle Bassano, Richtey, Norco.
Bike Setup:
K2 Animal Demo Bike.
Bottom Line:This is a cool saddle if it had some padding. If you're a XC litespeed hartail kind of rider, this is a good seat. If you like to go down hills more, get something with some padding.
