    Favorite Trail:Any Dirt I haven't explored
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $300.00
    Purchased At:All About Bikes
Strengths:Purpose built single speed with tensioners. Well built Floval tubing frame, handles well. BMX width rear end, so finding good hubs for wheel rebuilds will be easy which is key since this bike was aimed at dirt jumpers.
Weaknesses:I bent the stock chain ring in the first 10 miles. My shop hooked me up and got it swaped out. 05 model loses the dedicated SS frame opting for vert dropouts and a surly chain tensioner. Front fork doesn't have canti bosses so I had to get an 05 fork to run front brakes.
Similar Products Used:Demo'ed a bunch of SS DJ hardtails and they all felt good, but this was a steal at $300.00
Bike Setup:Stock except now with clydesdale proof 44tooth chainwheel and a nice BMX chain.
Bottom Line:The 04 and 05 are hugely different, I have a left over 04. It's a good pedaling no frills bike for 3 bills. If you are looking for a FUN bike to ride around and play with then try this one out. Nice BMX parts will let you build it up stout, and won't break the bank like a lot of the top shelf MTB stuff can. Enjoy the ride!
