Submitted by Brobbo a Weekend Warrior from Toronto
    Date Reviewed: May 17, 2007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $3200.00
    Purchased At:LBS
    Strengths:Pretty much all of it.
It rides quick, very little flex form my 230lbs frame.
Love the "on the fly" rear shock adjustment.
    Awesome components.
Weaknesses:Bars (Ritchie Carbon Rizer) are way too wide.
A S.O.B. to remove the seat post
    Unable to replace the hanger.
    The seat is awful
The rear shock air pressure is done in metric - but no where will it say so. - so make sure you have a shock pump that reads both.
    Similar Products Used:Specialized Stumpjumper FSR
Bike Setup:So far the only change I have made is replace the Avid Carbon's for Shimanon XT-755 (4 piston)- much better modulation.
Bottom Line:I was skeptical on this bike. After 2 rides, I love it. It seems to accelerate much faster than my Specialized.
It took a little getting used to the SRAM X-0 shifters, but love them now.
It can be front-end light when you dial up the Fox Talus to full and start doing hills.
To be able to adjust the the rear shock form full float, med-float and then to lock out is awesome. A feature you will never know you need, till you try it once.
Absolutely a fantastic bike all-round, just have to wait and see if it can stand the test of time and how good Scott is about supporting their products.
