$500.00 | | Strengths: | Great handling, you can throw it about on trails and it will follow your every command. An excellent bike with great componentary and a comfy ride. Excellent set of gears and survives the odd crash well. | | Weaknesses: | The fork could have been of a slightly higher spec. However it does leave room for a future upgrade I suupose. I would have liked to have see a rear disc drop out as Scott have not made it easy to fit a rear disc. | | Bottom Line: | Great bike with fantastic handling. Smooth effortless peddling will allow you to glide up hills and bomb down them due to the frame's robustness. However it is most suited to cross country use, no huge jumps unfortunately. A bargain at the price and an excellent allround bike. If you want a do anything bike that wont cost the earth get it! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$420.00 | | Purchased At: | Local Bike Store | | Strengths: | Lightweight, Durable, Exellent Components - On or off road. Handles Crashing very well... | | Weaknesses: | A higher standard Fork would increase the comfort of ride... Forks needed a Strip down and reassemble... Once carried out better than when bought new...
| | Similar Products Used: | Owned a TREK 820, Full Rigid bike with not as high standard of components... Prefer the SCOTT TAMPICO... | | Bottom Line: | Exellent were ever you take it, Good Looks, Good components, Good riding position and a good all rounder... $160.00 | | Purchased At: | Home | | Strengths: | Light, durable good components easily upgradable | | Weaknesses: | The paint job might be alittle better, but saing that the bike has taken some knocks and the paint hasn't scratch that much. | | Bike Setup: | Shimano Deore, RST 281TL f/Shox. | | Bottom Line: | A very good all rounder. I use it for downhill, XC, tricks and trails. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
