from MD Date Reviewed: July 16, 2003 | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | Real fast, very versatile (race, dirt jump, trail). A great halfway for the mountain biker tryin to get into BMX. XS pinchbolt three pieces suprisingly stiff and strong. | | Weaknesses: | Wheels and headset suffice but leave a little to be desired. The chainwheel was complete crap but easily replaced. Frame design (long ass top tube with short rear triangle) gives a strange balance problem that just takes a little while to get used to. | | Bike Setup: | Hand built crupi sealed raised flange hubs to rhino lites. Redline racing bars. XS chainwheel. Rest stock. | | Bottom Line: | Great cruiser. Initially the parts set up made for a fast but extremely stiff bike, but nothing some new wheels didn't fix. Jumps great and brought me home a few trophys. I would recomend it to anyone. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$300.00 | | Purchased At: | bike shop | | Strengths: | Cranks, obviously the frame, xs parts are suprisingly sturdy! | | Weaknesses: | headset, blew bearings apart, pedals blow they aren't pinned, sprocket sucks, it crumpled after a small and very short lived dirt jumping session.
| | Similar Products Used: | we the people thrillseeker, standard sta 500, | | Bike Setup: | goofy as h e double hockey sticks, titec mountain stem, downhill bars, tank headset, rock shox judy xc, kenda 2.6 tire on front, 2.125 specialized on back, profile whipit sprocket, acs freewheel, half link in chain to push the wheel all the way forward in the dropout and to overcome the weird balance the other guy that posted was talking about. | | Bottom Line: | my bike is goofy, I do big drops and jumps on it, people think I am supid and you probably do to by seeing the way my bike is setup, but if you ride my bike you will have some appreciation for how big I actually go on this clunker. I've wasted to much money on this silly thing, now it has a rigid fork on it and a bmx stem and bars, but I am lacing up two 26" wheels for it to make a really small framed trials rig! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$200.00 | | Purchased At: | Capitol Bikes | | Strengths: | Great all around BMX bike, 3-piece tubular cro-moly oversized 180 mm cranks are AMAZING. Jumps like an airplane and kicks butt at the tracks. | | Weaknesses: | The way the bike is balanced makes it hard to manual and bunny hop and stuff that involves leaving the ground without a ramp. | | Similar Products Used: | none | | Bike Setup: | Stock | | Bottom Line: | You can dirt jump, race and street ride great on this bike. I race every weekend and win quite often. Great package for a great price. Definitely the best cro-moly cruiser around, no matter what kind of BMX you're into. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
