Price Paid: $450.00

Strengths:Runs great, it has never given me any trouble. It takes a beating, but it has never needed any serious maintenence.
Weaknesses:The grips are kinda rough, i get blisters if i don't wear gloves.
Similar Products Used:Specialized Vegas TJ
Bottom Line:I highly recommend it. This bike is the best bike i have ever owned. I'm really pissed Schwinn went belly up and got sold.

Submitted by Halim Mellick a Weekend Warrior from Broome WA Australia
Date Reviewed: July 14, 2002
Favorite Trail:P.C.Y.C.
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $500.00
Purchased At:Broome Cycles and Scoot
Strengths:I love the rbj1 rims i haven had a problem with them and the crank looks like it wont have many problems.
its good having the flip flop hubs so if i want downsized gearing i can have it. it has sweet 14mm axles and cromoly forks and handlebars.
Weaknesses:the sprocket bent the other day i lost 3 teeth and the grips are a bit harsh on your hands i have about 20 blisters on my hands. the handlebars have 14 degree sweep so thats not too nice but you get used to it.
Similar Products Used:automatic trail, bactrail x4, specialized tj.
Bike Setup:i havent changed anything yet except my sprocket to a odessey utility sprocket
Bottom Line:it is a great bike although you can get them anymore because schwinn went bankrupt and had to sell all of their stock which is a bummer. good for any ages from 15 upwards
