from USA Date Reviewed: August 22, 2001 | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Extremely light and stiff frame. The extra "plating" connecting the down tube and top tube to the head tube make me feel more confident in the frame staying in one piece. | | Weaknesses: | Can't find them anywhere, I had to get mine used. | | Similar Products Used: | Specialized Hemi, Some kind of Free Agent. | | Bike Setup: | I don't know what the stock set up is but the only thing I've really added was Powerlite handle bars (a must for me, the "power bend" is addictive almost). | | Bottom Line: | Buy it if you can find one and if you dont plan on jumping it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Lake Orion, MI Date Reviewed: October 22, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | Waterford Oaks | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Strengths: | This bike has a light stiff frame. It accelerates better than any other stock bike in its price range. This bike is not a jumping bike so for the idiots who tried it for that start looking at what you're buying. This bike is a great racing bike. | | Weaknesses: | The two piece cranks aren't great but for the price they work. | | Similar Products Used: | I've used everything from old school hutches back in the day to box series GT's. | | Bike Setup: | Replaced cranks with XS 3 Piece and replaced wheels with XS sixshooter hubs laced to mavic xy rims. | | Bottom Line: | This is a race bike not a jumping bike. When used for what it is intended this bike kicks butt. If you're looking for a jumping bike buy the automatic, but for racing on a budget go for the pro stock. | Overall Rating: |

The Schwinn pro stock 2 is a terrific bike for racing. It coms wiht a 21 in. top tube and 15 in. chainstays. One of the great things about this bike is the fact that it comes with a solid mix components and is still priced at under $500. This bike is graet for anyone getting into BMX racing. | Overall Rating: |
