$600.00 | | Purchased At: | newberry park bikes | | Strengths: | stiff, but what freestyle bike isnt | | Weaknesses: | all | | Bike Setup: | 3pc cranks, all seeled bearings | | Bottom Line: | This bike series is horrible. I bought the joey garcia team model, First the brochure promised me a 36 14 gear ratio It came with 36 16 ... then when bought the 14t freewheel it didnt fit on the hub so in the end i had to buy a 44t front sprocket to get the correct ratio. Next, no matter how clean or how much locktite i put on the stem bolts they would not keep my head set tight and the ugly aluminum locking nut does nothing. 3rd after a week the tapered bearings in the cranks schwinn was so proud of, they suck the outer casings on those broke. and if thats not enough I just noticed the cranks are different lengths. I hate swchinn, I will never buy anything from them again. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
