    Favorite Trail:rocky hill
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
    Price Paid: $2000.00
    Purchased At:phat tire.com
Strengths:totally bullet-proof, I ride about 5-6 times a week of various mileage and the only ting I've had to do is pay $25 for a pin and bearing kit
Weaknesses:because of the design--a little bob, have not tried a propedal yet , but should help
    Similar Products Used:hardtail before this
Bike Setup:reba team fork, xtr rear, xt cranks and shifters, fox float rear shock , easton bar and post
Bottom Line:bst bang-for-the-buck, I weigh a svelt 200lbs and have had not trouble. I dont do 5 foot drops either, though, I figure the bike is designed for xc riding so that is what I do,also an occassional bike race and advenure race from time to time.

Submitted by Clive a Cross Country Rider from Calgary, Canada
    Date Reviewed: March 22, 2003
    Favorite Trail:Any Aggressive Trail
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $2700.00
    Purchased At:Frame From Bow Cycle
Strengths:Takes lots of abuse, smooth ride, up and down hill. It's best to use the rear shock lock-out for steep long ups. Looks good and should last a long time.
Weaknesses:There is nothing light about the Superlight. Yes, the frame is light, but once you start adding components, it's fairly heavy. Don't spend the extra money on the anodizing and powder coats. They get scatched just as easily.
    Similar Products Used:Specialized, Rocky Mountain
Bike Setup:Size XL, XT all around. Hayes disks. Fox RL rear and DH rockshox front. speed SRAM, easton and raceface components.
Bottom Line:This bike is tuff for all of your downhill fun, some uphill riding and alot of fun on the cross country. The best of both worlds. Gave it only 4 flamin' Chiles because there is always room for inprovement.
