    Favorite Trail:any
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
Strengths:light, and doesnt feel too bad in the wrists. also cheap, and is disc mountable, does travel well, although not much
Weaknesses:next to nothing in the preload adjustment, but it is there, not much travel, and not much rebound.
Bike Setup:Muddyfox Faithless - fully stock
Bottom Line:good for XC use, not for harsh use, does withstand heavy off road use though, so for the price you can buy them i reccomend them if you are looking for a cheap set of sus forks

    Favorite Trail:All of em
    Duration Product Used:3 months
Purchased At:Came on pile of crap
Strengths:ummmmm None... Buy a REAL fork this thing isnt worth its weight as scrap metal!!!
    Weaknesses:Everything
Bottom Line:This thing is like riding a pogo stick!!!!! no damping, all spring.....I bought a crap bike, so i got what i payed for....didnt think i was gonna become a seriuos rider but i did. Threw this crap away and built an IBIS Mojo with a FOX Talas!!!

Spend a few hundred and get a good fork even the worst FOX or MARZOCHI is better than this pile of trash!!

    Favorite Trail:South hill bluff
    Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Good entry but upgrade as soon as you are ready
Weaknesses:pain to adjust and the nobs stick
Bottom Line:Not for the semi-experienced, great to get you going but once up and running fork over another $300-$400 for the real deal.

Submitted by Bubba a Weekend Warrior from Ottawa, Ontario, CA
    Date Reviewed: April 23, 2008
    Favorite Trail:Ottawa River Trail
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $80.00
    Purchased At:Came w/ bike
    Strengths:smooth damping on curb-sized rocks & bumps (3-6")
Weaknesses:The pretensioners hardly make any difference
    Similar Products Used:RockShox Dart 2
    Bike Setup:Motobecane Jubilee DLX
Bottom Line:A good entry level set of forks comparable to the RockShox, but about $20-50 cheaper

Submitted by Nate a Cross Country Rider from Seattle, WA
    Date Reviewed: April 14, 2008
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $80.00
    Purchased At:bike shop/used
Strengths:soft on the trails, no leaks, no problems..yet.
Weaknesses:Preload adjustment does nothing!! I agree.
sags too much for riders 200+ lbs.
    Similar Products Used:Rock Shox
Bike Setup:Schwinn rocket stock, RST Capa forks,
Bottom Line:You get what you pay for my stock forcks were crap and only compressed on downhill slope angles so I picked these up used at my bike store. I do some rugged cross country, big rocks, dips and roots ect. These forks bottom out when I have my pack on. Pretty good on light stuff if you are 200lbs or over these forks sag too much. Use this to upgrade stock crappy forks. I will definately need to upgrade.

Submitted by Simon a Weekend Warrior from Northcote, Victoria, Australia
    Date Reviewed: October 11, 2007
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:Ray's Bicycles - Brunswick
Strengths:They ARE cheap, and they hold the handlebars up-ish.
Weaknesses:When Matt says the preload does 'nothing', he isn't being entirely fair. Cranking it all the way up takes it from 'unrideable' to 'sloppy'. Also, keep the WD40 close at hand, as the steerer is bare steel and will rust if you let it.
Similar Products Used:The Suntour Condor Triples on my Kustom Kruiser aren't exactly similar...
Bike Setup:2006 Shogun Trailbreaker 2 - GF's bike, totally stock.
Bottom Line:Jacked all the way up these forks are usable for your standard commute, but you'd only tolerate them - as my girlfriend does - if they came with your bike and you couldn't be bothered upgrading. There's about 5mm of play before any suspension happens, which results in a bit of a shunt on take off.

You're probably reading reviews of this fork to see how cheap you can go if you're not too fussy. Trust me, you are fussier than this.

    Strengths:None what so ever
Weaknesses:Preload adjust does nothing, not really 100mm of travel
Similar Products Used:Fox Vanilla, Marzocchi MZ race
    Bike Setup:2007 Hardrock sport disk
    Bottom Line:crap
