Duration Product Used:

Price Paid:

Purchased At:
Chainline Cycles
Strengths:
Frame, components, price point, name!
Weaknesses:
Tires, fork!
Similar Products Used:
Rocky Flatline, RM-7FR
Bike Setup:
Upgraded fork to a Fox Van R, headset to a Chris King, pedals to Primo Super Tenderizers, tires to Maxxis Minion DH, everything else is stock.
Bottom Line:
This is one of the best slopestyle bikes you buy for quality and price. I own two Rocky's and my son has one too. They have been great with backing up the product. My stock Marzochi 55R (junk fork) blew out. Not Rocky's problem, but they offered me options on upgrades at killer prices. Sent the fork to Marzochi for repair and then hung it on the wall of my shop. The frame is bomber and this is NOT a cross country bike!!

Price Paid:

Purchased At:
Big Sky Montana
Strengths:
My husband and I both purchased Rocky Mountain Slayers and love the way they climb and downhill. Great components although the Marzocchi Bomber front fork blew out on both bikes within 1 year.
Weaknesses:
Rocky Mountains customer service. Did not warranty my husbands frame when it broke after 1 year. Never contacted us personally after I sent an email asking why.
Bottom Line:
Spend your hard earned money with a company that will have your back and stand behind their product. Customer service is paramount in hard economic times. The unfortunate thing is that before this happened we reccommended this product to all of our friends.
