from uk Date Reviewed: September 30, 2007 | | Favorite Trail: | french alps and local trails | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | superbly built frame and suspension geometry | | Weaknesses: | none so far | | Similar Products Used: | gaint trance, spec stumpjumper, versus trigger, faith, | | Bike Setup: | 36 vans, xtr brakes, middleburn cranks, dt swiss enduro wheels, sram x9. | | Bottom Line: | seems to be lighter than marin attack trail with more travel.Climbs superbly on steep climbs, with no front wheel loft. Rear seems to dig in. descends great and tracks nice on singletrack. Can ride with the rest on lighter xc bikes and rag it downhill. Rode it after a hard week working days and nights and came back knackered and then this week did the same ride on my carbon trance and was slightly less knackered as expected.Great bike, cannot think what I would replace it with. anyone who needs 6 inches of travel should consider this bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
