I can see over tightening if I had a big shop allen, but I wasn't even cranking hard on the thing. I'm guessing the other review here is more gentle and can tell that if he goes any tighter it'll snap.

I ride a 1 headtube steel frame with a threaded Mag 21 fork. THe quill version of the Ritchet Force is a nice-looking, strong, light stem. MY one complaint is that I cannot tighten down the expander bolt enough. Every time I fall, the stem gets twisted. Never happens while I am just riding along, but I haven't crashed once without the thing loosening up and twisting. | Overall Rating: |
