a Downhiller
from orinda Date Reviewed: March 19, 2002
Duration Product Used:
2 Years
Price Paid:
$500.00
Purchased At:
risse shop
Strengths:
Stiff, plush, reliable AND chicks dig the stout legs
Weaknesses:
people have to double take to see what kind of fork it is since these guys don't advertise much-- if you call that a weakness
Similar Products Used:
Manitou magnum something, Rock shock Psylo, and Marzocchi bomber 5 inch travel ( pretty good fork)
Bike Setup:
Santa Cruz Bullit, the 33 lbs kind
Bottom Line:
these companies all rave about how stiff they made their new fork- risse's been doing it for years. This fork tracks better than my buddies dual crown rock shok and is lighter- what's the question.
