Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
Big, thick teeth. Light, strong. Looks good.
Weaknesses:
Pricey. Not made of steel.
Similar Products Used:
Surly, Blackspire, Warhawk Industries, and the stock SS ring with my Truvativ cranks.
Bike Setup:
Rigid 1-speed Karate Monkey.
Bottom Line:
This is a sweet ring for singlespeeds. The teeth are super chunky for good engagement on the chain. The adage goes, "pick two: light, strong, cheap." Well, this ring isn't cheap but definitely light and strong. I haven't worn it out yet but am hopeful it will give me a lot of miles.
