Date Reviewed: July 30, 2009
Favorite Trail:Poston Park
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $150.00
Purchased At:ebay
Strengths:This is a great bike. I built it from the frame up so it doesn't have ths stock componets but it is still a great frame and bike. I continue to upgrade it so it gets better every few months. It's a shame Raleigh doesn't still make them like this one. Super plush ride through the woods and can do any kind of riding you can throw at it.
Weaknesses:a little heavy but not bad.
Similar Products Used:None
Bike Setup:Saint rear hub and derailleur. Deore shifters and front derailleur. Shimano Alivio crank (it was cheap).
Bottom Line:Great bike. If you have the chance to pick one up you will be happy with it.

Submitted by Spencer Montgomery a Downhiller from Cedar City UT
Date Reviewed: October 21, 2004
Favorite Trail:Anything freeride or dh
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $850.00
Purchased At:red rock cycle
Strengths:The first time i saw this bike i knew i had to get it! Just taking a look at it i could see the giant swingarm and just the burlyness of the frame. The feeling only got better once i felt the suspension. Rock shox may not be my favorite fork manufactuer but the psylo feels great on this bike! The rear suspension is super plush thanks to a manitou swinger 3-way with spv. After drooling over the suspension you notice that for the price it has amazing components! The shimano deore disk brakes stop very well and the shifters(lx) and the rear derailleur(xt) are very smooth. Just after riding this bike in the parking lot i knew i had just fell in love
Weaknesses:absolutely nothing!
Similar Products Used:my beater bike(motiv vortex)great bike for only being 250 bucks!
Bike Setup:when a bike is this good you really dont need to change much
Bottom Line:A kick butt bike at a great price. I got mine used for 800 (thank you red rock) and it has been great. i cant wait to go ride it more! In my opinion it is the best bang for the buck you can get! If you are into freeride and on a budget get this bike! The suspension is super plush and it has good components! If you have the chance BUY THIS BIKE, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
