Date Reviewed: October 18, 2005
Favorite Trail:North Shore Trail Grapevine, tx
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $1100.00
Purchased At:Grand Blanc Cyclery, MI
Strengths:Nice frame, decent shock, good component spec.
Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:None
Bike Setup:Lx componets, alex rims, "inside air" shock rebuild kit, eggbeater pedals, v brakes, rest is stock.
Bottom Line:I've rode the heck out of it for the last 10 years and still riding it. Bike shop told me the geometry wasn't conventional but works great for me, maybe a little scary down steep descents. I've ridden the mountains in virginia on hills not meant for hardtails and it held up fine. Taken a ton of abuse and still holding up fine. If I could find one my size and a decent price I'd buy another one even today. I love it, mine will probably retire with me as long as I can find parts for it. Well thats about it.

Submitted by Jason Weddle a Cross Country Rider from Jacksonville, FL, USA
Date Reviewed: December 30, 2002
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $350.00
Purchased At:Champion Bike(Orange Park Jax)
Strengths:Light, good looking, carbonfiber frame.
Weaknesses:None yet.
Similar Products Used:Upgraded from old Trek 7000.
Bottom Line:Great bike for 325 used from LBS. I looked everywhere for info on this carbon frame, trying to steer clear of a bum deal. I could only find a few reviews. Pro buddy put me at ease, said it was a good deal. I really have beat the browntrout out of this bike at quarry for a first ride. Took alot of skin off my shins/elbows/shoulders on rocks and roots. Remind me to adjust the pedals prior to riding trails out of my league next time. But the bike survived 5 or so tumbles without a scratch. If anyone knows anything about this bike please let me know. jasonandstaciew@aol.com Thanks
