Quick Silver
Duration Product Used:
1 Year
Price Paid:
$40.00
Purchased At:
Frame from Ebay
Strengths:
Light, stiff and strong frame. 27.2mm post size.Lots of top tube space.
Weaknesses:
None.
Similar Products Used:
1999 Schwinn M3, but that frame was out of alignment at the rear triangle.
Bike Setup:
Shimano XT,Bontranger,Easton EA70,Specialized Titanium stem,Rockshox Indy with aftermarket elastomers and springs. Sella SLR.Mythos tires. All else titanium bolts and pulley wheels.
Bottom Line:
Once a retired police bike.Built very tough.Swapped most of my parts from the M3,which was a great bike but badly built. Light climber and very stiff,No frame flex noted.Comfortable for an aluminum frame. I spend most of my riding with this bike. Other riders seem to be intimidated with this bike. They must have something to hide.Relax guys. It's just a bike...with a 'Police' logo on it.
