    Date Reviewed: April 20, 2007
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $40.00
    Purchased At:used
Strengths:solid, cranks never loosened up on me and I hammer the crap outta my bike (dirt jumping, rock dropping, flatland-concrete drops etc.) this is the best BB I have ever had!
    Weaknesses:None!
    Similar Products Used:shimano=garbage
    tru-vativ=garbage
Bike Setup:haro x1, raceface cranks, raceface xc BB, marzocc compz (I know I need to upgrade this befoe they pop on me) shocks and geax sturdy 2.25's
Bottom Line:great friggin BB-couldn;t ask for better-the other reviewer must have had a bad day or bought it used or the mechanic who installed it did not space it properly (probably what happened). I am a bike mechanic at a local bike shop and I haven't seen much better BB's for the weight and cost-again mine was used but if you know what to look for and how to spot a damaged one, you won't have problems.

Submitted by Adam a Weekend Warrior from Kirkland
    Date Reviewed: February 9, 2007
    Favorite Trail:Porcupine Rim Trail
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:Supergo now Performance
Weaknesses:Their lack of customer service is what causes me to write this. I feel their product has some very minor flaws in the way their cranks are centered on the bottom bracket and this causes (on my bike atleast) an issue with it either getting very tight or loosening up on a ride. I've replaced the bottom bracket and adjusted it according to the instructions on the Race Face website. Finally I emailed Race Face and asked for some direction and a couple of the spacer washers that are used on their cranks. I was told "Bring it to your local bike shop this may be a warranty issue" I explained to them that this was not an option as my ride was planned for the weekend and it would take too long for the bike shop to fix it. I asked again, could you guys please send me a couple of washers and tell me how to set it up. Again I was basicly given the finger. I went directly to my local bike shop and purchased an XT crank and put it on last night. It's smooth, strong and I know if there is an issue I can be assured of it being handled in a positive manner. Their products may be great but their customer service is what will prevent me from purchasing anothe Race Face product in the future.
Similar Products Used:XTR, XT, Truvativ and many others (I have had over 15 bikes in the past 10 years)
    Bike Setup:05 Giant Reign 1
Bottom Line:I'm not going to support a company who doesn't support thier customers. Choose to do what you want but I think there are similar products out there and I'm sure their customer service is better, it has to be.
