$170.00 | | Purchased At: | Profile Racing.com | | Strengths: | best cranks ever - buy them if you are building the ultimate singlespeed. Creaked initially after installation, a bit of tightining and a bit of WD-40 cured the creak forever. Very nice when pair with a Ti sprocket for trouble-free use for eternity. Don't imagine I will ever change my crankset unless I go with longer crank arms. | | Weaknesses: | ZERO - perhaps expense if you are on a serious budget, but certainly worth saving for! | | Similar Products Used: | a bazillion other alloy cranksets - none are as problem free or as good - used many one-piece cranks back in the BMX day, and | | Bike Setup: | Avid BB7 185 disc brake w/ Speed Dial lever; WTB Race V saddle; Profile Racing MTB Race 3-piece cranks w/ 33T Profile titanium sprocket, FSA Pig DH Pro headset, Funn FatBoy Slim riser bar, Race Face Good N Evil grips, Phil Wood Disc SS Hubs w/ Salsa Delgado Cross rims, Thomson X4 stem, Panaracer Rampage tires w/ WTB tubes
| | Bottom Line: | Buy direct from Profile - best BMX manufacturer still making viable components for MTB! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
