    Favorite Trail:many
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $16.00
    Purchased At:Performance Lakewood, CO
    Strengths:Very comfortable
    Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:Bell cycling gloves from Wal-Mart. Shame on me.
Bottom Line:Never paid much attention to gloves... bought a pair in a hurry when the only place to find them was Wal-Mart in a small town in Arizona. Used em for 2 years, although pretty uncomfortable between thumb and index finger. Still holding up, but I decided to grab a pair of the Performance Coolmax while they were on sale. They're so much more comfortable, I'm glad I finally upgraded.

    Date Reviewed: February 15, 2004
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $25.00
    Purchased At:Performance
    Strengths:Comfortable, fit well.
    Weaknesses:Stitching falls apart.
    Similar Products Used:Most brands
    Bike Setup:N/A
Bottom Line:If the stitching wouldn't have come apart these would be nice gloves. However, every pair of gloves I've purchased from Performance in the last year hasn't lasted more than a couple of rides before falling apart. Performance needs to find a new thread vendor.

    Date Reviewed: August 26, 2002
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $25.00
    Purchased At:Performance Bike, Boulder, CO
Strengths:Great fit, avoids the over-padded feel of Gel gloves,
long-lasting, good contact with Bontrager Ergo grips.
    Weaknesses:none
Similar Products Used:Louis Garneau, Trek Gel, Pearl Izumi, Specialized Body Geometry
Bike Setup:Trek STP 300, upgraded to XTR throughout, Selle Italia
Flight Gel Ti seat, Thomson post, Time ATAC pedals,
Raceface headset, stem and riser bar.
Bottom Line:I've tried a few different glove styles. No other glove
has felt as good as these. They have just the right amount
of padding where it is needed (palms). Other gloves I have
don't provide the tactile feedback of the Performance
gloves, generally incorporating too much padding in palm
and fingers. I have ridden a 1000 km/year or more for
the past three with the same pair of gloves.
