Date Reviewed: May 7, 2004
Favorite Trail:Patriots Ride (Wmsburg, VA)
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $35.00
Strengths:These do a great job of keeping me warm. Better than the previous approach (running tights over Microsensor tights, and possibly fleece running pants over top)
Weaknesses:None so far. Got mine on end of winter half price sale, so the price was great.
Similar Products Used:none for biking
Bike Setup:Santa Cruz Blur, XTR, hydraulic discs.
Bottom Line:Can't do without them in winter or cold fall/spring rides.

Date Reviewed: November 9, 2002
Favorite Trail:Highland
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $70.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Warm, light, wicks moisture, and all that good stuff
Weaknesses:Pricy
Bike Setup:SJ Comp, not stock
Bottom Line:This work very well. While they might feel a little cool at first, as you warm up they quickly become very nice. I wear these with lyrca underneeth for the padding. The nice thing is you never really get too hot or too cold. They stay nice and comfortable. Overall they are great.

Submitted by Dajavier a Weekend Warrior from Somerville, MA
Date Reviewed: December 23, 2001
Favorite Trail:Middlesex Fells
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $69.00
Strengths:Good wind-blocking, wicks moisture efficiently, I don't get that frost bite itchy feeling after a sub 40 degree ride, keep legs feeling strong
Weaknesses:Damn waist. I have an XL pair, and I weigh about 230 lbs, and I don't have a huge gut, but the draw string doesn't do a good job of keeping me from showing the plumber but. Small problem, nothing some lycra shorts underneath can't help, but annoying. Expensive
Bike Setup:2001 Jamis Eureka, 100mm Judy SL open bath damp., XT throughout, rest stock
Bottom Line:Good cold weather gear, for bigger guys, I'd suggest bib overall style. But great feel, so they still get 4 pooh poppers!
