Strengths:
Light, 474g for 1.95 supple ride feel easy to mount on and off rims great traction for a light-weight race tire, esp. on rocks and roots low rolling resistance
Weaknesses:
Not good in deep sand or mud. I would recommend the Panaracer Cinder for extremely soft conditions.

Bike Setup:
Giant MCM with Fox F80X fork
Bottom Line:
I rode this tire on the front with a Panaracer Trailblaster rear tire. I was surprised how well this tire handled on technical climbs and downhills. Braking and cornering traction was great in a variety of conditions. The tread pattern is relatively shallow, so the tire wasn't great in really soft dirt or deep mud. Since it's designed as a race tire, it's no surprise how fast this tire rolled on hardpack and pavement. This is my new favorite front tire for XC and short track racing. I think with the Trailblaster 1.95 or 1.8 on the rear is an awesome combination for most XC courses.
