Strengths:heavy duty bike. Loves downhill- it will take you. Disk brakes are wonderful
Weaknesses:Heavy - really heavy like a bull. Some of the parts stink: bb and Free Hub. The seat falls apart.
    Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:Bomber Z1, FSA, etc... came stock
Bottom Line:Ok bike if you are going downhill. I use it for XC and it is just to heavy (about 45 to 50lbs). The drop out is kind of wimpy, but I think they fixed this up. Watch the dealer - the place I bought my bike just sucks!!! They blame the customer and when it comes to warranty parts they make you wait. I had an abnormal break to the Free Hub and BB, the bike shop took 3 weeks to get the parts in. They said the Oryx factory was closed, after calling them (Oryx) they were not. Oryx ended up calling the bike shop and put the pressure on them.
Ok bike, I just wish they would have used some better parts, but for 1300.oo CDN I can't really complain. The Hayes disks that came with it retail for 600.oo.
(overall rating low because it is so heavy= but I wanted a strong bike)
I'm not sure why they don't sell this bike in the US market?
