It is stiff and transfers energy second to none and the reason I was on it opposed to a soft tail or full suspension bike secondarily to weight, while corners like a titanium frame. I had my frames made in a custom yellow. They were at the TOP of the carbon game as they made different types of carbon supports for radio towers and the big space listening dishes. They were also in the aerospace industry so I knew I was getting a superior product. It hammers VERY well, and if your into trials, well this thing is amazing becuase of the light weight. | | Weaknesses: | None that I can find. On the light side compared to other materials but that is hardly a drawback if it is stiff and transfers energy well and of course does not break. | | Similar Products Used: | OCLV, Litespeed, etc... | | Bike Setup: | SID, carbon forks with air kit, nytex carbon cranks, bars and bar ends, mavic wheels, ritchey, avid, race face, Thompson, real race rings, cane creek, salsa etc... | | Bottom Line: | They take a beating and still bounce back and take all you can dish out and more. They smile and beg you to put out more. So, they will wear you out becuase your can not get off this thing... When it is all said and done though, expect to spend a lot or have a bike worth a lot, street value on mine and I had several were between $5000 and $6000, but for a professional bike it is worth it. If your looking for something that will allow you to outpace someone that is a little better than you are or you just want to ride a real showpiece this is for you. If your looking for something like a rockhopper this is not the bike for you, this is the porsche 957 slant nose of bikes, a real thing of beauty and if you don't want people asking questions I would not ride one. They command a lot of attention. Nay sayers like brand loyal Cannondale (tin can) owners will tell you that Carbon is still not proven. This stuff has been used for CENTURIES and it has only improved with higher quality resins and weaving technology not to mention thermoplastic technology and vacuum bagging. So I have had their cranks for a little while and now I have their frame. A cool navy metallic blue 18 carbon beaut. I was told when I ordered it that I was going to have to wait four weeks but i ended up getting it in about two and a half. So anyway. I built it with XTR and a SID and threw the carbon cranks on my my old ride on this one. Is it stiff? Is it light? Never heard of it this is all that I have heard since i got it. So let me tell it is very stiff, the frame isn't super light, but what it lacks it makes up for in ride quality, I don't know how to say it without sounding lame but it gives a soft feeling ride while being super stiff, You just don't get jarred bad on this frame, and it is super predictable. Great looking too. give it 5 red hot chili peppers.For those of you who are still worried about carbon, get out of the stone age come join the rest of us that woke up | | Overall Rating: |

Do you actually have one of these?? Why are you trashing them when it's seems pretty apparent that you've never even ridden one. Shut your trap, you poser. Trash someone worth trashing, like Airborne who puts reviews (ads) on this page and then says on their website to check out MTBR and see how good they are. You're a jerk.
