Strengths:Frame is awesome, I built the bike myself have had a P3 and stuff stock but I wanted to build something myself. So I did, but from for $'s this was the only option.
Weaknesses:Since it's an 08 frame I would have to say it's the paint job not because it's crap, but because it's beautiful.
Similar Products Used:P3, Kona
Bike Setup:Norco 4hun frame, dmr bits'n'pieces and whatever i could afford.
Bottom Line:If you want something you can handle take all the punishment you can throw at it then this is the bike. Do it!

Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $2500.00
Purchased At:Spoke o Motion
Strengths:Awsome specs super strong frame, sick geo, and nice componentry
Weaknesses:heavy - but its wikid for Dj get use to the weight worth it;)
Brakes - ew i dont like the hayes
Forks - super strong yes but heavy
Similar Products Used:Ive tried it all (bike store employee)
Bike Setup:2005 Norco 4hun basically stock for now(need $$)- Single speed
Bottom Line:If you add up the price of frame and all the componentry you can't go wrong. I love this bike and norcos in general are build awsome (and warranty is great too!) even though it is heavy its tough as nails ive been heavy DHing with this and literally beat the poop outta it and it just keeps askin for more. Change the brakes right away and if money allows lighter forks(pike, 36, some manitou) its awsome!

Purchased At:Freeride Mountain Sports
Strengths:I love this bike. The Marzocchi Dirt Jumper One fork is excellent. This bike is good for both Dirt Jumping and Street riding. It says that it is 39 pounds on the Norco website but when your riding, it feels a lot lighter.
Weaknesses:I can't think of any.
Similar Products Used:Norco 125
Bottom Line:This bike is perfect for a rider that likes both Dirt Jumping and Street riding. The "Atom Lab Trail Pimp" rims are strong and can with stand anything. This bike is the best purchase I ever made.

Favorite Trail:Lemon Drop
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $1700.00
Purchased At:Norco Rep.
Strengths:I have owned the 2002 4hun for a little over three years now, and I have to say its still the best bike i have ever rode. My friend bought one the year it came out, my Magma got stolen, and this bike just fell into my lap, i couldent be happier with it. I like the orriginal more than the newer versions, the new angles feel screwy, and you cant beat the orange and white paint job.
Weaknesses:Lets face it, hayes first gen mechanicals suck more balls than, well you get the picture. I swtiched out to avid long levers, and all is cruisy. Only othe complaint is that when you are riding street and trials, the chain guide crushes the orriginal derailer cable mount. I had to go to a solid casing from the bb to the derailer.
Similar Products Used:All of the 4huns since, 2002 brodie holeshot *drool*, several other free ride hard tails.
Bike Setup:stock except for: maxxis doubleply tubes, specialized dh pro frnt and rear tires, mavic 521 rims, 26 front, 24 rear, avid long lever disks, 8 inch front, 6 inch rear.
Bottom Line:There is nothing better. Buy one, steal one, whatever you have to do, just get your filthy hands on this bike because you have never riden anything that comes close.

Weaknesses:none come to mind at all
Similar Products Used:03 sasquatch, ddg shooter, scott yz2
Bike Setup:stock apart from halo combats
Bottom Line:I've just landed an 8 foot drop, that i had only thought i could do an my a-line (ok i'm a big norco fan), it rides really well, lovely and stiff, strong as a strong thing, and not too heavy, no-one who has ridden it has had a bad word to say.

Favorite Trail:autobahn
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $2100.00
Purchased At:skiis and biikes
Strengths:The 4hun is burly enough for some hardcore DH racing, so decently sized hucks...but most importantly if you don't live close to stuff like that, this bike is perfect for finding some street/urban right outside your house. i fell in love with the shorter chainstay which helps in learning mannuals, and you can't complain about is coming stock with the saint drivetrain....absolutely beautiful.
Weaknesses:my only SLIGHT complaint is that 2004 marzocchi dirt jumpers are a little bit heavier (but stronger) that the previous year. But the 16' chainstay helps getting the front end up....so i guess it cancels out. oh, i almost forgot...change the pedals.
Similar Products Used:2003 Rocky Mountain Grind
Norco Team Trials
Bike Setup:stock except for lock tights on the brakes that prevents massive fading.
Bottom Line:buy it, borrow it, just somehow ride it. The bike felt like an extension to my body after the second ride. So I hope you will be as pleased as I am

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $2300.00
Purchased At:McCooeys bikes and more
Strengths:good frame desing feels solid, the new saint derailier is amazing bashed it many times and still holdin strong, saint crank very solid and easy to work with.
Weaknesses:well to start off i bent the frame the 3rd time i rode it> the head tube ovaled when i cased a dirt jump, plus the rear formula hub is dead, been waiting three mounths for a new one:( get lots of pinch flats with rear tire so switched to hookworm and have'nt had a prob yet.
Bottom Line:bottom line is buy this bike its awsome> but there always a few unlucky things> but overall its gunna be worth it

Date Reviewed: April 1, 2004
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1300.00
Purchased At:silent sports
Strengths:this bike si a tank. The design and angle of the frams is set perfect for dirt jumps and comes with top notch components. the saint cranks and derailer are super strong and have already taken alot of abuse.
Weaknesses:the bike was creaking when i first got it but after tightening all of the bolts and pedals it works like a charm. the fork rebounds extremly slow and there isnt much difference between the slowest and fastest rebound.
Similar Products Used:03 norco shore with 888r
Bike Setup:stock
Bottom Line:this bike is meant for alot of abuse and norco once again lives up to its name. this is my second norco and it appears to be the right choice. the square to round tubing is the solid. i cant get enough of riding this bike. i ride it every were. this bike brings the person riding it to new hights in riding. amazing bike for the price. (nothing better)
