Duration Product Used:

Price Paid:

Purchased At:
Brentwood Cycle
Strengths:
frame is solid, have gone off bigger and bigger drops and it continues to take what I can work up to with ease, its nicely balanced in the air, nimble, and still climbs like a goat when you need it to, (provided you are a bit stronger in the legs)
Weaknesses:
syncros rear hub pawls sheared off, but was replaced with a hadley hub, 150 size makes for a solid rear wheel, hardly any dishing to offset spokes.
Similar Products Used:
kona stinky, norco shore (earlier model),
Bike Setup:
syncros wheels, stem, bar e-13 chainguide, new hadley rear hub, kenda rubber, dhx5 rear shock, 66 vf2 fork
Bottom Line:
this bike was an incredible purchse, I needed a bigger bike for not only my size, but also the way I ride. not many companies produce extra large frames, the xl shore fits my six-six and 250 lb frame perfectly. I have ridden whistler and washington (thanks for the free vps passes to norco) and limited north shore trails, and lloads of locat stuff. it is stable at speed, can be flicked around (sortof) and continues to laugh at everything I throw at it. Norco has improved it again this year and I will definitely continue to buy thier high end products.

Strengths:
everything.great parts spec!!!The only parts that failed were caused by a bad crash, rear der and bars
Weaknesses:
got to be carfull not to put to much weight on the front end in high g-force turnes.front looses traction easily.must keep weight farther back than my vps team.66 forks are high maintenance.Especially in constant wet riding
Similar Products Used:
2000 custum built norco vps
Bike Setup:
stock except bars and der.2006 model
Bottom Line:
awesome bike!! If you love extreme, tightand and steep technical trails youll love this bike, but if you have the guts and technical ability this bike will keep up with any pure dh rig except in wide open terrain.Ill say it once more i love this bike!!
