    Favorite Trail:Toowoomba Surounds
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $550.00
    Purchased At:Norco Dealer Toowoomba
Strengths:The bike in its Australian form is a tidy unit out of the box. Minor changes ie: saddle, stems etc are all that is really needed to make it a good all rounder. I've had my bike for nearly 2 years and its copped heaps of punishment from big 6 foot drops to knocking around on single trails all day I've taken this bike everywhere with me and it is very accomodating. The only thing that I've replaced have been the front derailer to a deore and the odd brake/gear cable the beauty of this bike is its simplicity you can easily work on this bike from the comfort of your own home (saving money on costly services etc). For the price I reckon this bad boy is value for money.
Weaknesses:The pedals totaly suck and its the first thing I replaced along with the no name stem to a profile xc number and saddle to a velo crossbow. Apart from that the bike is a good all rounder I've taken mine riding with mates on weekends and the raced it in everthing from xc to compressors it is a really good bike.
Similar Products Used:I can't comment to much as the only thing I can compare it to are mates bikes or my very outdated and much repaired Haro. This bike is right up there with all the better know brands in Australia it runs rings around the Giants, Merida, Advanti and Specialized with similar components the only thing I've ridden that is better is a mates brand new Cannondale F500. Its a good bike with alot of potential to do more.
Bike Setup:My bike is the standard 7001 frame with Marzochi Z5 shocks, Shimarno brakes and Deore running gear. The stem is Profile and the handle bars are Titec Hellbent xc its a good mix for the everyday and come days when theres a meeting its easy enough to change the set to suit
Bottom Line:At the end of the day this bike is good all rounder and I'd buy it again given the chance (assuming Cannondale or Raceline aren't giving their bikes away).

    Favorite Trail:my hometown's construstion zone
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $600.00
Purchased At:traded in my old charger rc for a 2001 charger rc
Strengths:the frame, it's quite good, i m not a "pure hard core" guy, but i can do many stuffs on a bike you know, the frame is really strong. my seat, um... it's selle itallia xo and it's very good for xc rides
Weaknesses:um.. my stem wasn't good, so i switched to a xc stem, my rear drailler(alvio) to stx rc's(better than deores, but crappier than Lx's) i changed my tires poped out in a month. changed the stupid, squickin' chain to a better one Also, the fork sucked like HELL and still hurted me like my old one. {I hate manitou's} Finally, i changed the crappy pedals that costed me 14 stitches, to a wellgo ones(worth the money) shin savers!
Similar Products Used:well, i tried the older versions of chargers and will trie those 2002's i also tried norco bigfoot, DH team, XC team
Bike Setup:This bike frame; 7005 alum, manitou spyder, sun rims, alvio v-brakes, stx rc draillers, and wellgo pedals
Bottom Line:This bike is fine for almost evryone, just if you upgrade some mistaken parts.you might wanna put sid's or psylos on to match this bike. also put some shimano Xt's or Lx draillers (only rear one, front one works fine)

My charger is great, i go 4 ~ 5.5 footers drops in xctrails and it's rollin' damn fine. i suggest this bike for most xc guys, but to aggressive guys out there, try those team xc's

By the way, value is 4 chillies only, cause this bike is $1100 canadian dollors, not $600 canadian

    Favorite Trail:Madjura
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Purchased At:Big B (now Onya)
Strengths:The Fork!!! The frame is solid and the Velociraptor tyres are excellent for the ACT gravel.
Weaknesses:Front Alivio derailleur is probably the worst thing. I've been bending the front chainrings a bit too, but that happens when you weigh 95kg...
Similar Products Used:Avanti Barracuda 2001 : nice components, but soft frame and crap fork.
Bottom Line:Excellent bike, best value hardtail on the market!

The Bomber fork is great (I've pumped it up a bit) and is very smooth once it has been worn in. It has got me out of trouble many times.

The front derailleur is only bad thing, and I'll probably upgrade that pretty soon. It will also get some new front chainrings too.

I was able to test the frame strength last week with a big, high speed stack. The Charger came thru with barely a scratch, while I wasn't quite so well off...

Buy this bike if you want an awesome spec hardtail for a very reasonable price that you can ride (almost) like a dualie.

    Favorite Trail:Haven't Decided
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $600.00
Purchased At:All Seasons Source For Sports
    Strengths:- Frame
    - Rear Derailleur
    - Crankset & Pedals
    - Headset & Handlebars
    Weaknesses:- Seat
    - Front Derailleur
Similar Products Used:None, it's one of a kind!!
    Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:I highly suggest buying this bike! This is my first day doing trials and I'm getting pretty good. I used to do Cross Country and other stuff but it works for that too. If you by the bike, you might want to buy a new seat, it hurts. I weigh 140 lbs and I don't take big drops but I take smaller ones (around 3ft) and it's solid as a brick. The Rear Derailleur is real smooth but the front is loud and unreliable, it pushed my chain off 3 times in 15 minutes. If you do trials, cross country or beginning freeriding then this is a good choice.

Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
    Price Paid: $600.00
    Purchased At:Baliey's sea and ski
Strengths:The frame, the bomber front fork, the BACK derailers, the brake levers, the paint job, the price, the weight and everythingelse!!!!!
    Weaknesses:the FRONT derailer, the seat
    Similar Products Used:Trek 4500
Bike Setup:stalk except clipless pedals and a new seat (I will upgrade the front derailer soon)
Bottom Line:I like it, the bomber front suspnsion really takes the edge off those rocky downhills or those small drops. A great clibing bike!!! It's a much gnarlier bike than my 1999 Trek 4500 (whick I love)!!!!! I totally recomend it!!! Although, I bumed it off my dad for a day so I don't exactly know how it holds up over time. I'm a little too young to be able to push it to the limits in 1 day though, but what I did do, the bike gobbled up and asked for more!!!!!! I'd recomend this bike to the intermedeat rider who wants good quality componatry witout vaporizin' there checkbook!!!!!!!!!!

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $600.00
    Purchased At:John Henry Bikes
Strengths:Good Brakes and other components. It has fairly good shocks for the price you paid and it offers a smooth ride.
Weaknesses:The frame is a little on the heave side. If you wish to add a back fender, you have to go with one attached to the seat post because of the lack of a second hole to stabilize the fender.
Bottom Line:Good Bike with good components. It has a good feeling while riding and the shocks have little rebound. I started out with this bike(it was my first hardtail) however the bike can also be used for more advanced riding. It feels smooth to ride, however the seat is somewhat uncomfortable for long periods.

Strengths:Z5 Bomber, Avid Dial 5 brake levers, disc brake front hub!, Velociraptor tires and a solid/light frame.

    Bike Setup:Bontranger crow-bar 9Deg. Sdg 7000 seat. Bontranger re-1 clipless.
Bottom Line:Dollar for Dollar a wise investment. Make sure to read all the instructions for the fork for the longest possible life-span.(know the max air pressure- 45psi). Go out and compare, I did and I think it's great!Buy If you want a good solid ride. Don't buy for a down hill or trials bike.
