Strengths:
For 1400 bucks Canadian, brand new, nothing's better. The forks are super solid, the frame is bomber strong and plush, this bike kicks. Great cranks and wheels.
Weaknesses:
You gotta ditch the halfpipe shifters right away. There were a terrible choice for a freeride bike. The saddle is also super cheesy. I bent mine the first day I rode it. Final minor complaint is that the pedal studs fall out. Loctite them in and no problem though.

Bottom Line:
This bike is great. I smile every time I ride it, and I can't wait to get it out West. If you get a line on one, pick it up. Ultra good value. If you're a freerider type on a budget, this is a lot of bike for not much cash. If you're a cross country dude that likes going up hill, well then. I'd look into a hardtail or something less beefy.

Strengths:
Strong frame and perfect cocpit size for me,good front susp.It turns well,it's point and shoot,and event after a big crash nothing moves.(except for my thumb)
Weaknesses:
The gripschit suck,so the hayes mech. disk brakes.The tires get worn fast.

Hmmmmmm well... ummm... HMX brakes arent good unless set up perfectly... ummm. halfpipe shifters suck...

Strengths:
fork(z5qr20) vuelta dh rims are bombproof. I cased a 15 foot gap going as fast as I could and they still don't even wobble
Weaknesses:
I'm not that heavy at all and I am 13 years old but I have managed to crack the frame. They are only small cracks but they will get bigger and I find that with the 5.5 inches in the rear it makes the bike land really hard. So I'm going back to a hardtail and getting a torrent(that is if they warranty the frame) AND THE HAYES HMX1'S SUCK!!!!!GET AVID!!!!

since i've only had it for less than a month i can't say too much but i can say so far i love it and it takes 6 foot drops with ease(even to flat)

it's a great bike if your low on money and want the performance of a 4000 dollar bike for half the price. i'd recomend it to anyone who is on a bit of a budget and wants a bike they can count on

Strengths:
Plush ride, it sucks up big hits well. Stable in the air, also lands well. Strong, this thing won't break. The monoque frame looks pretty sweet.
Weaknesses:
The Hayes Mechanicals are an excellent brake, but suffer more stiction than the Hydraulic units. The seatpost must be cut, or get a telescopic one.

Perfect freeride for a good price. Excellent for all the abuse and hard-landing crap you can put it through. Although bred in the North Shore, it will work for all freeride applications, and its durability is awesome.

Incredible Bike... Plush suspension, beefy frame, good component selection for the value. Climbs better than my old hartail.
Weaknesses:
I hear the bearing wear out easily but they havn't yet, 1/2 pipe shifters are too long

Strengths:
Super plush rear suspension, perfectly balanced cockpit (for me) for jumping and freeriding, Very easy to pop up front tire for wheelies and manuals.
Weaknesses:
You can't lower seat post all the way in unless you cut it or use telescopic seat post.

Bottom Line:
Sweet bike. I was interested in a Rocky and some other bikes until I rode the Drop - Felt perfectly balanced and confidence inspiring. The other bikes I was trying all felt a little bit off - Although I can't really pinpoint why. Perhaps I could have played around with different stem lengths, bars, angles, etc. and I would have gotten them better but why take the chance when the norco was already there.
If you want one get it quick as I been told they're selling fast. Canadian bikes rule.
