get this pony if you enjoy climbing 'cause you wont want to stop until you've reached...well...the sky i guess...i'm gonna recommend this bike to the racer folk, as trail riders may find it a little too "geometrically racer-like". yeah, the bar was about 8 inches below the saddle when i rode it but it worked out great. the flat easton bars rock the casbah.
five flamin' chilis all around for the norco. i'll miss you nitro butsee you in my house in 'bout a week. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1000.00 | | Purchased At: | Darlings Island | | Strengths: | Everything, Cranks are good, Forks are great :D little light but pump them up with some air, and its sweet. Rims are fast light and killer. Panaracer XC Pro make a good fit for the Sun Mach 4 Rims.
| | Weaknesses: | The Handle Car, Easton EA70 Flat Bar. People should go for the risers. | | Similar Products Used: | Norco Rush, Specialized, Kona. | | Bike Setup: | Fork: Rock Shox Duke XC U-Turn Cranks: Shimano HollowPoint Rear Derailler: Shimano LX Rims: Sun Rims Mach 4 Tires: Panaracer Fire Xc Pro Hubs: Shimano, Disc Compatable
| | Bottom Line: | This bike is awesome for any XC rider, great for the money, i got my pimped for the XC season. The right setup for the a bike makes all the differance. Nothing is wrong with it, the forks are ajustable so you can put 100mm on it for the times you are with ur peeps around town. You can take it down to 80mm for XC racing.
Light bike, and looks great to. So all you people looking for a XC bike under $1500, this bike is the best you will probably find.
I wouldn't recommend this bike for the up and coming freeriding, and weekend warriors you should take a look at it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$865.00 | | Strengths: | Good parts for price adjustable shocks good frame | | Weaknesses: | stock spring set isn't firm enough, and new springsets don't come out until April. | | Similar Products Used: | none | | Bike Setup: | All stock exept 1664 BMX pedals | | Bottom Line: | If you like XC, and don't have tonns of cash laying around, this is the bike for you. I have done a few 4 footers with it, and it feels good, but I don't trust the shock to do much more than 6-7 feet. This bike will get you where your going, and with the adjustable shock you can do some easy DH runs as well. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1000.00 | | Purchased At: | Riders Mount Gravatt | | Strengths: | There Arent Any | | Weaknesses: | Everything | | Similar Products Used: | Trek 5000 | | Bike Setup: | As per bought specs | | Bottom Line: | This bike couldnt last a long stastionary sit in the garage. I purchased this bike after my Wheeler 3000 CZX had been put to rest after 15000kms of riding. So the hunt was on for another bike. Finding the Norco and hearing the product range had been holding its own against all competitor a bought one and gave it a burl. 18 kms later it was a creeking, noisy, shaking piece of rubbish. Taking it back to the store and a weeks worth of changing parts ( that were found to be failty ) I took it for another ride and was still most disappointed. After a long heated discussion I got my money back.
What brand can I trust now? Certainly not NORCO. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
