Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $999.00
Strengths:-Solid Bike
-Fork
-Brakes (Great for DJ/Urban)
-BB Bracket / Cranks
Weaknesses:-Front Tire
-Rims
-Grips
Similar Products Used:Kona "COP Special" (a Jumper made by Kona for my local shop)
Bike Setup:Norco 4 Hun (SS)
Wheels : Atomlab Trail Pimps (07) 36H
Thomson "Jump" Stem
Easton DH MonkeyLites
ODI Lock On Grips
Whipperman Chain (SS)
Bottom Line:The Norco 4Hun is a solid all around bike for DJ/Urban. I have been Jumping "her" for little over a year and a half, and have had no problems what so ever. I would recommend up grading the rims. The current Alex rims are not the strongest if you are a agressive rider.

*There are accounts where this frame has broke (snapped) but I have not seen it in person..

I wouldn't worry about it sense it takes alot of abuse to be able to break one!

Bottom Line : If you can find one..Get One!

Duration Product Used:1 Year

Purchased At:chyane sports
Strengths:Cheap, very good geometry, bmx bb shell, adjustable vbrake tabs (26 or 24 inch vbrake compatable), color.
Weaknesses:actual weakness, cracked the frame after just over a year of smooth park riding. Frame dropouts came bent from the factory. Derailer hangers very dificult to find. BB shell not simetrical
Similar Products Used:asama frame
Bike Setup:sherman flick, dual 24s, avid juicy sevens, raceface next lp cranks, chris king hubs front and back, road derialer/cassete, etc..
Bottom Line:If your on a really tight budget, and need a park/dj/freeride frame, this is for you. But if you want a frame that will last, that has quality qorkmanship, and doesnt snap off very little abuse, then this is not the frame for you. Right from the start I was very disapointed. Yes it has the perfect geometry, but a frame needs more than that. I wish norco would have charged another few hudnred bucks to make the frame worth buying. This was a total let down, and I will never buy another norco frame.

Favorite Trail:haha, this town is a dirt trail
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $800.00
Purchased At:CMP Sports
Strengths:This bike is just awesome. Perfect conversion from BMX to mountain bike. Super beefy components that im sure will take a pounding. Havent had a chance to really test it yet, but with stock 24's and Marzocchi DJ2's, nailing big stuff is something that can be done with confidence.
Weaknesses:So far so good. I have heard people complain about the DMR chain tensioner but i guess time will tell.
Similar Products Used:2002 Norco Ryde
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:If your looking for a solid hybrid bike to transition from MTB to BMX, or vica versa, this is definetly the bike to go with. I hated the thought of going mountain bike till i rode this bike. Pretty hard to beat the quality and product this bike has to offer for the price.

Strengths:Strong, quick, comfortable, and agressive
Weaknesses:none yet
Similar Products Used:Norco 250 and 125
Bike Setup:03 4Hun frame, DJ 3's, shimano 8 speed rapid fire shifter, other than that pretty much stock
Bottom Line:It's a great bike everyone I let ride it loves it. If you can find it buy it! It's the best out of all the bikes i tried, it works great for urban freeride and of course dirt jumps. I loves drops and stair sets. Also this thing loves to fly. So if you like to do what i've listed above you have no reason not to buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1000.00
Purchased At:Bow Cycle, Calgary
Strengths:Everything is super solid. It loves air and can take a beating. Cranks are sweet!!
Weaknesses:DMR Tension Seeker is for vertical dropouts, not horizontal. Upgrade to chain tugs!!
Bike Setup:Stock (minus DMR Tensioner): DJII 4.3", Alex rims, axiom cranks/bars/hubs, single speed drive, Snafu Stem/Chainring, DMR V8 peddles, Ging chain tugs
Bottom Line:This bike lives up to all my expectations: nothing is breaking, it's sweet in the air, handles exceptionally well, and came stock with dope components. If are tired of your MTB components busting everytime you try anything remotely interesting and you like to jump: you'll love this bike. Oh, and contrary to what is stated above, the frame is 7005 Alloy, not Easton RAD.

Favorite Trail:I prefer urban and dirt jumps
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $205.00
Purchased At:Russ Hay's
Strengths:What a cool frame. First off, the geometry is amazing. The green color is awesome. The horizontal dropouts and beefy tubing is great. And for $321 CDN (including tax) for the frame...THAT'S SICK! Awesome for dirt jumps and urban. Really easy to manual even with my 26" wheel. With a 24" and a disc brake it should be even easier. I love my 4hun and couldn't have spent a better $321.
Weaknesses:Not really any. I'm running a 26" wheel on it right now and the tire clearance is kinda low. Good tire clearance for 24" though. I'll have one soon! As far as I can see, the only problem with this bike is MY skills...Hahaha
Similar Products Used:2002 4hun, 2002 one25, 2001 250cc and 125cc
Bike Setup:Size med. frame, 5 inch Psylo, ditchwitch rims, truvativ cranks, profile BB reducers, 8 speed shimano stuff. Pretty basic parts. I'm getting a 24" single speed rear wheel and an avid mech disc for it. That should make it even more fun than it is right now!
Bottom Line:Great frame for great price. Looks awesome, rides even better. Can't go wrong with a Norco.
